Supporting Characters

The film had lacked time for us to flesh out the characters to what we would have wanted in any regard, as we had envisioned the passengers having a deeper connection with both the audience and the driver, as the driver is meant to be the insert for the audience so they can reflect on the emotions felt by the driver, however, alternatively, we simply decided to make the supporting characters a catalyst for the plot of the film as once they disappear is when the film essentially begins.

With our film, we had attempted to somewhat differentiate the passengers from the driver, as the driver is the character to which we pay the most attention, so we gave the passengers a different color palette, with our driver wearing predominantly white, meanwhile, the passengers wear either grey or black. If the film was any longer we would have attempted to give the passengers more dialogue or characteristics that would connect the audience with them.

Personally, our characters are meant to lack some form of an emotional connection but not to the level they have now, as the main focus of the film was the emotions of the driver.
