Sound

 

    The sound of our film was an aspect we had various ideas on what to do and what should be focused on and what should be minimized as we had wanted our film to feel realistic in some regard, as to allow our audience to relate to the driver's feeling of abandonment and sorrow, most, if not all of our diegetic sound in the film was the dialogue between our characters as large part of our film, was the connection of the driver and the passengers. However we did have some background sound creep into our recording, which was initially overlooked but as the editing process had begun we had noticed it, however, in my opinion, the background sound had given it a more realistic feeling as silence where we live, is a very uncommon occurrence. 

    We did initially have an idea for a radio scene to occur in the film to somewhat foreshadow what would occur in the film in the latter portion with the disappearance of the passengers, however, due to time restraints in the film we had scrapped the idea as it would have been at least 15 second scene, which we couldn't have in the opening. 

    For our film, we had used a small snippet of Non Diegetic sound during the title card meant to create an intense sensation, as the mystery of what happens is fresh on the mind of the audience.
